Broke me out
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Post Inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), Acne, Large Pores, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

My best friend gifted this cleanser to me since I was struggling with acne, but that was before I learned that cleansers should have a low pH, around 5.5, which is the skin's natural pH. Not knowing this, I would use this cleanser whenever I broke out, but I always felt like it made my acne worse. I thought it was probably from something else, but I eventually stopped using it because I felt like it stripped my face squeaky clean. After some sleuthing in the Asian beauty community, I found out the high pH disrupts the skin barrier and is a thriving environment for acne. No wonder it broke me out :(

I would stay away from this
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Anti-Aging (Fine lines & Wrinkles), Blackheads, Large Pores, Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin

I bought this recently and used it 4-5 times, but it was enough to form an opinion. This cleanser is quite bad, at least for my skin, the reason being that it leaves it with that squeaky clean feeling that is never a good sign. The consistency is like a thick foamy cream that lathers up further when mixed with water, which I saw was common among some other Korean cleansers I tried samples of (and didn't enjoy). All in all, I'm not a fan of this type of formula and will avoid it in the future.
