combination PIHAcneRosacea+ 3

I'm a sucker for natural scents and this has a lovely natural lemon scent. I use it on days when I'm feeling extra iffy and need to brighten dull skin. The pads are double sided, one side is gauze like and the other is smooth. Use the gauze side to gently exfoliate skin then turn over to the smooth side and swipe all over face and neck, rinse afterwards. It leaves your skin nice and soft, bright and prepped to absorb the next skin care steps. Beware if you have extra sensitive skin because this might be too harsh for you. As for myself I make sure to do it very gently around the areas of my face with rosacea. For added relief, store it in the fridge and use while it is cold.. absolutely refreshing!

Innovative but mainly suited to combination/oily skin

This is one of my favorite type of exfoliators as it combines physical as well chemical exfoliation. These rough textured pads are soaked in a liquid containing the popular oil busting ingredient - lemon which I found interesting. You put 2-3 of your fingers in the gauze (imagine a circular glove for your fingers) and swipe the pad along your face, there is a rougher side that you use first and once you are satisfied that you have exfoliated well you turn the gauze around to the smoother side and wipe away excess debris. Be sure to rinse your face after use. I feel that this is better suited for extremely oily skin types as this did dry out my face quite badly. I did stop using this variety and switched to the wine version.

Of the three varieties namely: Wine, Green Tea and Lemon, my least favorite is the lemon as it's too astringent for dry skin.

These pads are too bulky to travel with as they are quite big and the container is massive, they do however come in single pad sachets for easy travel which I love.
